Blend the ice cream and milk until smooth and thick. Set aside in the freezer.
Coat the rim of the glass with chocolate syrup.
Roll the syrup-covered rim in the chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
Roll small balls of cookie dough. Stick a few to the rim if you like.
Pour the milkshake into the decorated glass.
Add the remaining cookie dough balls and gently stir to distribute them.
