Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies Finely chopped in food processor.
  • 1 package cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 3.4 ounce boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 ¾ cups cold milk
  • 1 container whipped topping like Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 pack Gummy worms

Instructions

  • Pulse the Oreo cookies in a food processor until you have fine crumbs. If you don’t have a food processor, seal the cookies in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  • Beat together the softened cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
  • Whisk the pudding mix and cold milk together until thickened in a separate bowl for about 2 minutes.
  • Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until well combined. Then gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  • Add a layer of crushed Oreos at the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish. Spoon and spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the cookies. Repeat the layers, finishing with a final layer of Oreo crumbs on top to resemble dirt.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the cake to set up. Just before serving, decorate with gummy worms or plastic flowers for a fun and festive finish.

Notes

Chef Jenn’s Tips

  • Make sure your cream cheese and butter are fully softened so your base turns out silky smooth.
  • Want chocolate flavor instead? Swap the vanilla pudding for instant chocolate pudding!
  • Add a layer of crushed chocolate sandwich cookies halfway through the pudding for extra crunch.
  • This recipe works great in mason jars or clear cups for individual servings at parties.
